Why Do I Need An EPC?
The purpose of an EPC is to indicate how energy efficient a building is. The EPC will provide an energy efficiency rating from A to G, where A is very efficient and G is the least efficient. The better the rating, the more energy efficient the building is, and the lower the fuel bills are likely to be.

Selling or Letting
It is UK law to have a valid, in-date EPC readily available to potential buyers or tenants interested in your property.

Government Grants for Home Improvements
Whether you are considering utilising the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), ECO4 Scheme or others, most Government grants require an EPC to qualify.

Improve Energy Efficiency at Home
Your Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) can advise you on measures you can take in order to reduce your energy bills.
